The Recipes

Canadian cuisine has varius characteristics from one province or region of the country to another. As a culinary or local specialty, in general, the traditional cuisine of English-speaking Canada is similar to English and American cuisine. Whereas, the traditional cuisine of French-speaking Canada and mainly Quebec has its origins in French cuisine and the winter cuisine of the coureurs des bois (travellers). Canadian cuisine is warm and true, rich from its roots and the diversity of the populations that make up Canada. Cranberries and maple syrup are Canada's two flagship products! Canadian sauces are also known to be delicious. The highlight of Canadian cuisine remains Christmas with its traditional stuffed turkey with berry jelly and mashed potatoes. Not forgetting the powdered log with icing sugar. The products are quite simple and the imagination of the cooks makes it a warm cuisine!
